Meet Amy E. Hull
The Voice Behind Empathy-Driven Leadership and Lasting Change
Amy E. Hull is a dynamic leader, author, speaker, and founder of Hull Humanity Ventures, LLC, a people-centered consulting firm dedicated to bridging divides, fostering belonging, and driving systemic change through inclusive organizational design.
Amy currently serves as an executive for the human resources team at Paychex, Inc., a global human capital management company, where she works with the belonging and engagement team to foster inclusion and employee engagement across the business. Previously, she was a corporate executive at Paycor, Inc., where her leadership helped earn the company several national awards for a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
A respected voice in leadership and emotional intelligence, Amy’s influence has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2023 CLIMB Award from the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the 2022 North American HR Excellence Provider Award by HRO Today. She has also graced the cover of HR Futures Magazine and was named one of Cincinnati Herald’s Top 100 Working Women in 2019.
Amy’s impact extends beyond the workplace. She is featured in the Amazon Prime documentary Oyler: Dramatic Turnaround in a Poverty-Stricken Community, and she serves her community as an alumna member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Team member, a supporter of Girls Health Period, LLC, and a lifetime member of NAAAHR (National Association of African-American Human Resources).
Amy’s journey to writing Healing Division began with a leadership program that examined the movement of power within systems and individuals. This experience helped her understand the necessary coexistence of empathy and power for positive change. With the support of a book cohort, three initial sample chapters, and her unwavering commitment, Amy built out the blueprint for what would become a transformative body of work.
Behind her accolades is a woman driven by purpose, resilience, and love. As a proud “Team Mom” to her two sons, Amy draws inspiration from her parents, her children, and her desire to shape a world where no one is diminished for who they are. She completed her book while going through a personal loss, a major career transition, and her son’s epilepsy diagnosis—challenges that revealed her strength and the power of community.
When she’s not leading change or writing about it, Amy finds peace in traveling, music, and a good book. APB Speakers Bureau proudly represents her.
